New and improved AMVIC education courses

| Industry bulletins

AMVIC continuously strives to build a fair marketplace for automotive consumers and businesses. One of the key ways this is achieved is through education, which includes AMVIC’s mandatory registration application process and online Salesperson Registration Course for automotive salespeople in Alberta.

To ensure the delivery of high quality, relevant information to automotive businesses and their sales and service employees, AMVIC recently updated our online courses (Salesperson Registration and Service and Repair) to make them more accessible, engaging and modern in their design.

Features and enhancements

Some notable improvements to the courses include:

  • the ability to access them anywhere on multiple devices including mobile phones, iPads, laptops and desktop computers,
  • the option to go back to previously viewed lessons and navigate through modules with ease,
  • the addition of interactive elements and new learning activities, and
  • the choice to turn audio on or off for the course content.

A fresh look

The courses also have a new design with a clean layout, updated selection of photos and user-friendly format. Here is a sample screen from the refreshed Salesperson Registration Course:

Along with the redesign of the courses, the advertising modules from the updated courses have been posted on AMVIC’s advertising toolkit web page, where anyone can review them for free to assist in advertising compliance. In addition, the old ad examples on this web page have been replaced with current ones to match the new Salesperson Registration Course.
