Did you know AMVIC has free resources for salespeople? Using and referring to these resources is an effective way to stay informed and provide excellent customer service.
Salesperson resources include:
- AMVIC Online portal:
This is a self-serve portal where you are able to manage your salesperson registration, renew your registration and update your personal information, including your place of employment.
- Advertising toolkit:
AMVIC offers the advertising 101 learning modules from both the Salesperson Registration Course and the Service and Repair Course free of charge on the advertising toolkit page. The toolkit also includes social media advertising examples and the AMVIC logo.
- Industry focused publications:
AMVIC produces Impact, a quarterly industry newsletter that contains useful information related to the automotive industry. In addition to the newsletter, AMVIC releases frequent industry bulletins. Sign up to receive these publications by going to amvic.org and clicking on the “subscribe” button.
Do you need a form quickly but aren’t sure where to find it? AMVIC’s website, amvic.org, has them available for you to download and print, including the Mechanical Fitness Assessment form, an optional deposit agreement and more. Check back regularly to be sure you are using the most current form.
- Registering for courses:
Any salesperson who ceases to be registered for a period of more than three years must retake the Salesperson Registration Course prior to being issued a new registration. Register for a refresher Salesperson Registration Course or take the voluntary Service and Repair Course.
As a registered salesperson in Alberta, AMVIC encourages you to stay up to date and informed about best practices within the automotive industry.
