Leduc Motor’s business licence cancelled

Edmonton— BFF Auto Inc., operating as Leduc Motor’s (aka Leduc Motors, Leduc RV’s), has stopped business operations and the Alberta Motor Vehicle Industry Council (AMVIC) has cancelled the business licence effective Jan. 30, 2018.

AMVIC is investigating numerous consumer complaints regarding Leduc Motor’s. It is alleged that the business may have sold vehicles with unpaid liens, contrary to Alberta’s automotive consumer protection laws.

The cancellation means that Leduc Motor’s, or anyone acting on its behalf, is no longer authorized to sell, consign, lease or repair vehicles in Alberta.

Anyone who has concerns over dealings with Leduc Motor’s or a representative of the businesses should contact AMVIC’s consumer services team online or by phone:

  • file a concern/complaint online at amvic.org
  • call (780) 466-1140 ext. 2002 or toll free 1-877-979-8100 ext. 2002, Monday- Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
