In the Driver’s Seat wins PACE award

Edmonton… In the Driver’s Seat, a video aimed at increasing awareness of consumer rights and responsibilities for those buying a vehicle for the first time, has been recognized by Region IV of the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) as the 2013 overall division award winner for an externally produced video. The PACE (Public Affairs and Consumer Education) awards recognize public relations, public affairs and consumer education excellence among the motor vehicle, law enforcement and traffic safety agencies across North America.

AMVIC and Service Alberta collaborated on the video, which is used in Alberta schools as part of the Career and Life Management curriculum and by driving training schools across the province.
